About Us

Company History

In June 2004 Community Matters, Inc. attended their first Texas Chamber of Commerce Executive Conference in Kerrville, Texas with one printed map title.  That initial publication won first place in the Media Award Contest, which started a continued tradition of award-wining maps.  News spread of the map publisher who produced high-quality publications with customized service.  Our company motto from the beginning has been simple…  “we say what we’re going to do, do what we say and we return phone calls.”

Growth continued year after year, with new features being added along the way such as our innovative online digital publications.   Maps were soon being produced from coast-to-coast, from California to South Carolina.  Business Referral Guides and Membership Directories were then added to our services, stemming from requests from Chambers of Commerce who loved their maps.

Currently Community Matters, Inc. provides maps and directories to hundreds of cities, chambers of commerce and convention and visitor bureaus.  We take pride in our numerous industry specific awards, being able to customize our publications to fit our clients needs, and our ability to support local communities with our generous profit sharing program with our Chamber partners.
